General Scooter Questions:
1. How can I pay for my scooter?
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Paypal. If you do not have a credit card, we will accept checks. We prefer cashier checks and money orders. Personal and business checks require 10 days to clear before your item will ship.
2. Are there taxes on my scooter purchase?
Wisconsin residents will have 5.5% sales tax added to the price of their scooter purchase. Residents of other states will not be charged sales tax for their online scooter purchases.
3. Why are your prices so much lower than other dealers?
To keep our prices low, we stock hundreds of scooters from manufacturer's worldwide and ship factory direct bypassing the middle man.
4. Are the scooters street legal?
We highly recommend that you contact your state's Department of Motor Vehicles and legislature to see what scooter laws you must follow before purchasing your scooter online.
NOTE: Since scooter laws vary from state to state, you are solely responsible for determining the legality of your scooter in your state. We will not issue any refunds based on claims of unsatisfactory legal status.
5. How fast will the scooters go?
A range for the maximum speed of each scooter is indicated on the ordering page. If a light person is riding the scooter, the scooter should run at the top of this range. If a heavier person is riding the scooter, the scooter may run at speeds towards the bottom of this range.
6. How hard is it to assemble my new scooter?
Most of our scooters are shipped 95% assembled with instructions to make assembly as easy as possible. Most scooters can be assembled relatively quickly with basic tools. Plus, some of our scooters come with FREE tool kits to make assembly even easier. Certain items like the dune buggies require a lot more assembly because they are large items and need to be compacted as small as possible for shipping.
7. Do I need to mix my own oil and gas to fuel the gas scooters?
You will need to mix unleaded gasoline and two cycle oil in the specified ratio for all of our 2-stroke engine products. We have provided a mixing chart on our manuals page.
8. If I place my order now, how soon will I receive my scooter?
Our shipping center is open between 10a.m. and 5p.m. CST. If you order during business hours, your order will be processed and shipped out usually in the same or next business day. We ship all scooter orders via Ground Delivery, which takes 2 to 5 business days to arrive.
9. What is the status of my order?
You will be emailed a tracking number once your item ships, you can then track the package from the shipping companies website with your tracking number. You can also log in to your account to view your tracking number.
10. What happens if the scooter I receive is defective in any way?
The Manufacturers we work with cover replacement parts for defects and shipping damage. If your scooter is damaged or defective, please visit our support/warranty page for information.
11. Do you sell any scooter parts?
Yes, we sell parts and accessories for just about every scooter we carry. However, most parts and accessories are not listed on our site. Please email us if you are looking for a part not listed.
